A seasoned entrepreneur, Pam’s involvement initially with the Isle of Man came through her haulage and distribution business ICD which she formed in 1988 and eventually sold to Trade Distribution (a division of Heron and Brearley) in 2007. Pam has the ability to recognise talent and as a result, along with Director Phil Hicks has established EPL as one of the leaders in the provision of staff on the Isle of Man, and continues to be involved with building the business relationships for Extra Personnel Logistics in Liverpool. It is this business acumen that has helped EPL continue to report significant year-on-year growth.

As a qualified and experienced recruitment professional Phil Hicks has worked in finance recruitment on the island for over 18 years. He has gained both the Certificate in Recruitment Practice with the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and the Certificate in Personnel Practice from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Phil specialises in the placement of Temporary, Contract and Permanent staff within Finance, Driving &Logistics and associated businesses, in addition to being a link with the Isle of Man and Liverpool operations.

With experience of dealing with clients at all levels she performs a variety of roles including the processing of Payroll, Invoicing, and the daily schedules of Driver Recruitment. With experience in placing candidates within Temporary & Contract opportunities, she is well equipped to manage the provision of an efficient service to our clients within the Isle of Man and Liverpool Offices.

Working on the front line within the Logistical sector, with experience across Driving and Industrial, David’s role focuses on the continued generation of new business including our very own LGV – CPC Driver Training Courses for new and existing drivers, ran by one of our own qualified Instructors.

JAMES BRIDGEWATER

Lead Medical Recruiter and Primary Care Nurse Specialist
EPL, Liverpool

Having been a qualified Nurse since 2007, specialising in Mental Health James has worked across many frontline services such as A&E, Psychiatry Liaison and Emergency Community Services.

James has studied and qualified in prescribing and is employed as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. He has travelled with his profession taking him to New Zealand in 2012 and to the remote island of Saint Helena in the south Atlantic in 2015. He has worked extensively with people of diverse backgrounds and is grateful to have collaborated with a plethora of highly skilled multi-disciplined professionals.

Since his return to the UK he has been involved in developing mental health services in the Primary Care Sector and is the founder of a business providing accredited health training programmes into work places, schools and organisations.

James is highly experienced in developing recruitment and training strategies to meet the needs of businesses and health care services.

He is currently studying an MSc in Mindfulness Studies at Aberdeen University integrating his knowledge and concepts into evidence based organisation training programmes.
